Volunteers Needed for Waterfowl Show

The NNA will again be participants in this year�s RAPPAHANNOCK RIVER WATERFOWL SHOW in Whitestone.  Please save Friday and Saturday, March 15 and 16!  Our booth will feature informational pamphlets, displays, and posters highlighting birding, hiking, conservation, and habitat activities and concerns.  We will also offer blue bird and wood duck boxes, books, tapes and CDs, and other quality items for sale for the convenience of those who stop by.  We hope that, by raising public awareness of our mission, others will join the NNA.             

Our help is important and provides a relaxed, easy, and fun way to get to know other NNA and prospective NNA members.  So,  mark your calendar today!    We will need 21 volunteers to man the booth in two-hour, three-person shifts, plus two additional crews to set up and take down the exhibit.  If you can help out, please sign up at the next meeting or call Jim and Barbara Groff at 453-5891!
